Enabling Healthier Communities

What We Do

Who We Are

We are a women-led and women-run hub of free thinkers geared for evidence generation through quality research, capacity development and innovations in health and social sciences.

Research

Our research focuses on evidence generation for policy implication to improve the health of communities

Capacity Building

We work to create a sharing and learning platform for diverse group of persons to enhance knowledge, strengthen skill and build networks for better performance

Innovation

We promote experimentation of new tools and techniques for solving the public health and social issues

When we mentor one woman, we uplift a community—because real change begins when informed choices, inclusive voices, and evidence come together to lead healthier, more equitable lives.

Communities Reached

After attending the support group meetings, I went for a check-up and was diagnosed with diabetes. I started my medication immediately. These meetings changed my health journey.

Participant, Mixed Group

When I come to the meetings, I get to meet my friends and talk openly about our health. It makes my day feel purposeful and enjoyable.

— Participant, Elderly Group

If trained properly, I’d love to help others by checking blood pressure and glucose levels in our community. I want to spread what I’ve learned.

— Female Community Health Volunteer (FCHV)

The mentorship program helped me gain confidence in research. I even joined a national NCD research project afterward. It was a stepping stone for my career.

— Supriya Shrestha, Mentee

With the guidance of my mentor, I developed and registered a systematic review protocol. This experience shaped my skills in evidence-based research.
