Success Stories of Ms.Aayuska Parajuli

During the mentorship period, another mentee (Ms. Aayuska Parajuli) had an interest to learn about systematic review. One year down the line and Aayuska has now developed a systematic review proposal in her topic of interest. In fact, she is still working with her mentor now. Aayuska shares her reflections as follows-

As I look back on my participation in the APARA Author AID Mentorship Program, particularly focusing on the systematic review project, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. This experience has been transformative, both professionally and personally, offering profound insights into the intricacies of systematic review and the value of collaboration. Throughout this program, the journey towards creating a systematic review protocol was nothing short of enlightening. The guidance and support from the mentor were instrumental in structuring a comprehensive protocol. Learning how to delineate clear research objectives, establish inclusion criteria, and systematically gather and assess relevant literature was an invaluable skill set acquired during this process. Moreover, the collaborative nature of this program was a defining aspect of its success. The exchange of ideas, constructive feedback, and the pooling of expertise were pivotal in refining the protocol, ensuring its robustness and adherence to rigorous standards. The iterative process of drafting, revising, and refining the protocol highlighted the need for patience and determination in pursuing scientific rigor. As I reflect on the transformative journey through the APARA Author Aid Mentorship Program and the invaluable experiences gained, I am eagerly anticipating the next phase: embarking on a comprehensive systematic review project. The upcoming endeavor represents a significant milestone in my academic and professional growth, building upon the foundation laid during the mentorship program. Undoubtedly, this project also presents an opportunity for personal growth. It will challenge me to further develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and adaptability in the face of evolving research landscapes. The iterative nature of conducting a systematic review reinforces the importance of resilience and perseverance, qualities that I aim to cultivate further in this endeavor. I am excited about the prospect of contributing meaningfully to the scholarly domain and remain committed to upholding the highest standards of research excellence.
